Getting to The Morar Hotel by Road
You can hire a car in Fort William or even in Morar. Harry Potter fans can enjoy the fabulous train journey on the West Highland Line and complete easy local car hire facilities right here in Morar for your stay. The train station is over the road and Morar Motors is 3 minutes away and will collect you from the station. Morar Motors also has a depot in Kyle of Lochalsh.
Citylink runs a regular bus service to & from Glasgow and Inverness all year round terminating in Fort William, where travellers can either take the train the rest of the journey or the local Sheil bus service direct to Morar (Mon to Fri only).

Our nearest Airports are Glasgow or Inverness and there is a local company offering an airport Taxi service (contact us for their details). From Glasgow, only Glasgow Millennium Cars operates an airport taxi service to any destination in Scotland.
Getting to The Morar Hotel by Train
Take the train to the small but perfectly formed Morar Station (right opposite the hotel) direct from Glasgow Queen Street or Fort William Station. A regular year round service is provided by First Scotrail.
During the Summer months, from Monday to Friday, the Jacobite Steam Train runs between Fort William and Mallaig.
